The “Fire” event poster explores the idea that fire can both create and destroy. A custom typeface was designed using the real leaves of Burning Bush to form the letterforms. The colors and textures express the dual nature of fire, its ability to bring life as well as cause destruction. The poster captures the dramatic and transformative essence of fire while connecting it back to the natural world.
The poster, “Typography Is Fun”, is about the joy of working with typography and trusting the creative process. Different typefaces, colors, and shapes were explored without focusing on the final result. The poster shows how design can be playful and experimental, and how making mistakes and trying new approaches can lead to better ideas. It highlights that design is about learning, growing, and enjoying the creative journey, not just achieving a polished outcome.
